She tried on the dress before we headed out to the failed photo shoot... she fell asleep right after the sitting! I ended up being so dissatisfied with sitting/situation that I didn't buy any of the pics and ended up setting up my own portrait studio in my apartment!

She LOVED this snowman. When you push a button, it dances and sings "I'm Mr. White Christmas"... She never got tired of seeing him dance and sing
(though I think some of the other guests did!)

Christmas eve at Floraland

We went to a Christmas Eve party at a place called Floraland. This was one of the more bizarre experiences of my life... They have this Disney-esque park for flower exhibits in the spring... and they decked it all out for Christmas. Who knew they'd get so crazy about celebrating Christmas in China? They had lights and decorations and a bazillion Santas and Santa's Helpers running around...

KGZM's mom was my "secret pal" while we were waiting for the babies... she sent A.B. and me lots of great surprises... and then the best surprise of all, she came to Chengdu to pick up her own little angel! We went to visit in the hotel and the girls got along great!
