time for another haircut

For the first time, AB agreed to get her hair washed before the haircut (good thing, because she had little pigtails in when we went), and she ended up getting SOAKED all the way down her sweatshirt! The nice ladies spent about 20 minutes blow-drying her clothes!

this time, instead of a lollipop, we went with sugar free life savers for "haircut candy"
worked just as well - she sat very still and was great for her trim!
since this trim, her hair seems so much thicker and more like big-kid hair!

Today we took the girls for haircuts. AB just got a little trim, and Meimei got a lot of hair cut! AB went first and demonstrated how to sit still and enjoy a lollipop (haircuts are the only time she gets lollies!)

a haircut for AngelBaby

I took AB to the mall after her nap today. I wanted to get her a haircut - it was starting to get long enough that if we trimmed up the bottom layer, that it could start to grow out all one length. Well - I succeeded in getting her hair cut, BUT - I'm not certain that the hairdresser understood me when I said "can you cut HER hair?" She just got a short cut - but not a particularly girly one... ah well. She is still cute as a button!
I gotta say... the sucker works! (I read in a magazine that giving a kid a lollipop during a haircut gets you 15 minutes of fidget free styling time. She sat there GREAT and I was free to snap pics!
