ballet & tap

Tonight AB had her first dance class since she was four in El Centro. Back then, she seemed to love dancing but she HATED the tights. She still hates tights, and now that she's allergic to all things girly, she doesn't want to wear a leotard or skirt either. But she does still love to dance! She said at CB's last dance recital that she wanted to take ballet, so I signed her up for this session. For a while she moaned and groaned about this and claimed that she had been joking, but at CB's class on Tuesday, she watched with great attention and again declared, "I want to take ballet!"

A t-shirt that fits her and capris were the closest we got to dance clothes...  I'll keep offering dancewear and we'll see if she ever wants it!
