Waiting for the driver at the exit of Dujiangyan, and with AB out of the backpack and running around, we had time for some pics. She was really working the camera!
Today we went to Dujiangyan, the irrigation project built over 2000 years ago to prevent the Sichuan basin from flooding and to direct enough water for agriculture into Chengdu. It was really beautiful and I got lots of great pics! We started at the top of the project and worked our way down. this is the character for longevity she fell asleep less than two minutes after the previous pic was taken! we're about to cross that bridge here we go! Grandma and Grandpa surfing the bridge! (it was really wobbly!) silly Grandpa! (making faces at AB - she loved it!) This gate is at one of the entrances to Dujiangyan (but this is where we exited the park)
