hot, hot, summer day

It has been SO hot and humid lately! It feels like a sauna outside... AngelBaby LOVES to swim (she has even started swimming lessons) but her nanny doesn't swim so I don't want her taking AB anywhere near the pool (she doesn't want to, either). I decided to get a little wading pool for our balcony so that she can at least cool off on the hottest days when it's really too hot to even go out and play at all. After our shopping trip this morning, I got the pool set up, and after her nap, AB splashed away and had a great time - and there are tons of pics to prove it!

Hawaiian baby

testing out the studio a bit more... trying to get the lighting right and get rid of the shadows on the background. The amazing thing was that AB let me put the haku lei on her head - the first time I tried to take her picture with a lei - she kept ripping the flowers off of it! But she now likes to wear hats and glasses and to put things around her neck (whether they are meant to be worn around the neck or not!), so I thought we might try this again, and it went better! You can see her new teeth (#4 and #5 on the bottom) in a couple of these! :)
