Today is the one year anniversary of my arrival in Chengdu! Wow, that year went by fast! Not particularly to celebrate, but because we had been invited to visit a friend's new restaurant, we went out after work. It was HOT and there were lots of mosquitos, but I was armed with insect repellent and citronella spray, so I don't think any of us got bit. AB had had enough of the heat by her regular bedtime, so she crashed out in my arms and then I just had to wait until we were allowed to leave (it was such a labyrinth to get there that we never could have left on our own!) All in all though, it was a fun evening... and here are some pics!
