San Diego Zoo

Oh wow, we love the San Diego Zoo!!! I was born in San Diego and went there as a kid, but I didn't remember how great a zoo it was! We only had a short time to visit the zoo, due to a late start and a dinner engagement, but we made the most of our time and went to the Children's Zoo section, the Monkey Trails, and the Aviary. We skipped the pandas, since we see them so often in China. The gorillas were the coolest - they were wrestling and playing and they are so FAST and strong! There were two mamas with little babies and at one point one of the babies was face to face with AB, with just the plexiglass between them. AB waved and said "Hi Monkey!" It was so cute.
